"Don't you dare dying or whatever while I'm not there to watch your ass, you hear me, Cameron Mitchell? Don't you dare."

So that was it.

Letting out a breath, he let her arms go, sliding his hands down till he could lift her arms up to his shoulders.

" Then you don't hate kid's? "

" Cam- "

Letting out a breath, he pulled her up close and back stepped till he sat on the bed. Pulling her to his lap.

For a few moments, he held her, before he reached up and brushed some hair from her face.

" If i get any say in the matter. .I'm gonna be sticking round till we auction the rug rat off for marriage "

" Cam! "

She gave him a shove then, but a small quirk of her lips, and he ducked his head, kissing her lightly, once, then again.

" Come on. .It's a baby. .tiny, cute. ."

As he talked, his hand seemed to move, eventually sliding to rest on her stomach. .

"It's going to be huge, because of your damned genes. Tell me again, why did I marry you?"

"You love me?"

Dismissing that with a hand, she rolled her eyes and smirked when he had the decency to look offended.

"No, that's just bull. I should have known this would come sooner than I expected...I don't want to stop flying."

Looking down at her hands, she was feeling slightly selfish saying that but she really felt that way, really felt like she deserved more time, needed more time.

But it seemed like now...It was too late, anyway.

Sighing, he cupped her face in his hands, making her look at him.

" Just because you've had a kid. Doesn't mean you have to stop flying, Han. There's plenty of things we can do "

A couple of things, nannies and day care came to mind especially. But he was slightly wary of the Nannie idea himself.

" Once he's old enough, he'll be in school with Trigger and Kit's kid, making friends and stuff. That'll give you time out right?. .I'm always here too "

"I'm not talking about once it will be born, Cam. I'm talking about the pregnancy."

He sighed and went to talk, but she cut him off, taking his hand in hers.

"He's going to make me look fat and ugly, he's going to keep me from flying, from doing my job as a soldier, and he's going to annoy the hell out of me, and then he'll be born and it's going to be ten times worse!"

She was overreacting again, going far and she didn't honestly mean half of it, but she was deeply scared of losing her touch, of losing her rank, of losing her life and giving it away to that kid...

He was trying to be patient with this. She was just over reacting.

But then she said that and he steeled his jaw.

" So what are you saying? You don't want children? "

Sighing, she looked down. No, that wasn't it. She was going to love that kid, more than life itself, but. She was just not ready.

"I'm scared, that's all. I'm scared of losing the life I had. Of course I want children, Cameron. I want your children."

Looking up into his eyes, she willed herself to calm down and squeezed his hand in hers, her free one climbing up his back to his hair.

"I'm just. I'm not ready? It's...it's unexpected. I'm scared. And I hate being scared."

Sighing, he rubbed her back lightly.

" I know you do "

She was giving that little motion, like she was saying 'see?' and he nodded.

" Just tell me your at least a little bit excited about it though, Han? "

Looking into his eyes, she cupped his cheek after a minute as she rolled her answer over her tongue to try and soften it a bit.

He was obviously excited, after all.

"I will be."

She nodded, leaning her forehead against his as he sighed, and closed her eyes when he kissed the tip of her nose, out of habit.

"I'll get there. I just need to...get used to the idea."

3 Weeks Later. . Kit's Baby Shower. .

Kit/Angel/Jules

" Guys, come on! "

Coming out of the bedroom, Kit pulled a face.

" I look like a whale "

" Kian must have a fetish then- "

Angel gave Jules a sharp nudge and she shrugged, before downing the rest of her drink.

" We've been through 4 dress changes, Angie. The shower's gonna have started without the baby "

Crossing her arms, Kit shot a look at Jules.

" And what am i? Chopped liver? "

Jules just gave her a look and grabbed her purse.

" Well i'm going. I can't sit around like this. It's boring "

Jules was off before Kit could blink, and she raised an eyebrow at Angel.

" What's up with her? "

" Wrong side of the bed? "

Shrugging, Angel stood and grabbed her own purse.

" Now come on. Party's waiting and the food's gonna go off, if you don't hurry it up "

Waving her hand, Kit grabbed a wrap and her purse and waddled after her. .She really was starting to get big, now.

As they were heading down the corridor's, several different people stopped and said congratulations again, and Kit even laughed when one of the smaller kids had blinked, then asked if the lady had eaten too much.

When his mom said she was having a baby, he'd almost fallen backwards, before asking why she'd want to et a baby?

Poor woman, she'd be explaining the birds and bees tonight.

" So what's Trigger doing with the guys tonight? Anything good? "

Kit shrugged and they finally reached the right place and headed inside. Kit stopping when there was some shouts.

" Something wrong? "

Jules appeared with a slight frown and a piece of paper.

" It seems we've been double booked with a wedding party "

" Oh "

Kit's face suddenly fell and then deflated that bit more, her shoulders dropping.

" No party then? "

Angel went to give her a hug, but she shrugged it off and turned to walk out.

" So much for wearing my new dress. . "

Looking round to Jules, Angel waved her off as she was arguing with the manager.

" Forget your stinking table. The food sucks, anyway "

He gave an outraged yell, and she flounced over to Jules, before following her after Kit.

Sat on a bench outside, she had taken her shoes off and was rubbing her feet.

" Least Hannah missed seeing us being chucked out, eh? "

Jules blushed and looked down to her shoes, and huffing Angel glanced around.

After a few minutes of sulking, Jules finally huffed.

" What about the bay? It'll be empty by now right? "

Kit raised her eyebrows, before looking to Angel who frowned, then raised her eyebrows and shrugged.

" I guess so. . But what if the guys are there? "

" I don't mind "

After a few moments, it was decided and the girls were heading to find Hannah. .
